Charity is an integral part of what I do. I feel it is important to give back through music to alleviate the problems of a suffering world. Here’s a list of charities which I support on a regular basis. I have made some invaluable friendships through these.
Breast Cancer Care is incredibly grateful for the fantastic support of Les Magee who played her harp beautifully at our recent Carols by Candlelight concert at St Paul’s Cathedral, which raised over £165,000.
Les, we can’t thank you enough. Your help ensures that every person affected by breast cancer gets the best treatment, information and support they need.
Les has brought a touch of glamour to the two events where she has entertained our guests with her beautiful harp music – she finds the perfect balance of background sound and visual pleasure, and our guests love to listen to her during the drinks reception. We are enormously grateful to have her as part of our entertainment at both our Amber Ball at The Dorchester and our Christmas Celebration at All Saints Church Fulham. Thanks so much Les!

The Passage has been extremely fortunate to have Les play at two of our receptions. On both occasions she performed absolutely beautifully. The presence of Les and her harp added a special elegance to the events. In one instance we asked her to play a less well known piece which she mastered and delivered exceptionally. Les is an extremely generous person with a real social conscience. The Passage is very grateful to her for her support.
